DNP Float Output Data

This data type stores Float values sent from the DNP master unit to the module

and PLC. The size of this data area is determined from the configuration

parameter Float Outputs. These data are transferred from the module to the PLC

using the write operation. Therefore, these data are read-only for the PLC, as the

PLC cannot directly alter these values in the module. It is the responsibility of the

DNP master unit to maintain this data. For example, if the DNP master sends a

value of 3405.000 to the module for a specific point, the value will be stored in

the module until changed by the master. A data flow diagram for the float output

data is shown in the following figure.
